2 Via ferratas you can do near Madrid
They are in Fuertescusa and the best way is to go through Guadalajara
Just before we reach the village we will see on our left the sign of start, with the relevant explanations. But the best thing is to park in the village which is only 500 meters or so. In addition the downhill path leaves us near the cemetery, so having the car near the bar is the best idea.
There are two via ferratas: side by side.
Piedra del castillo (K2)
It is a very easy ferrata route. You can do it even with children if they’re accompanied. Although it is quite height, it has no difficult step, and the steps are very close to each other.
Asalto al Castillo (K4)
It is parallel to the First: Stone of the castle, but on the left side, This via ferrata is totally direct to the top ending in an area that pushes backwards. It’s great if you are not affraid of height and you’ve trained a little.
